    Description

This listing is for 15 E. S. Curtis Native American photographs taken in the 1880's and reproduced in the 1950 's as prints.    The photographs would be considered sepia toned portraits of Native American people.  They measure 14 1/2" by 17 1/2" and are all in pretty good condition.  Several have a tear along one edge in about 1/2" but they do not get into any of the prints.
I will give the titles of the pictures and there are three that I have not pictured as they only have room for 12 in the listing.  They are as follows:
The Mussel Gatherer; Gathering Tules - Lake Pomo; Wichita Grass-House; Antelopes and Snakes at Oraibi; Watching the Dancers; Pima Ki; Clayoquot Girl; A Cree Woman; The Rush Gatherer - Kutenai; Bear's Teeth - Arikara; Basket Maker; Hleastunuh - Skokomish; A Nakoaktok Chief's Daughter; Hesquiat Root Digger; A Hoppi Man.  The last picture does not have a white border on the top, probably cut off long ago.
Anyone who is interested in early photographs  of Native American people would appreciate these great prints.
